Pesky little things.
So this is a yellow jacket. Last night Ralph was stung multiple times by them. Not really sure how many but enough that he was carried away in an ambulance and taken to the hospital. After he was stung he started to complain that he couldn't see, couldn't breath and was dizzy. We were walking to the car to take him the the ER and before he could get to the car he collapsed. And let me tell you, I do not respond well to these situations. I panic and don't know what to do. Basically act like a blubbering idiot. Thank God for some fast acting neighbors! But all is well after being pumped with benadryl and steroids. We left a few hours later with a prescription for an epipen.
Nice shots!!
ReplyDeleteOh how I hated getting them haircuts. Sniff.
(& on my shot yesterday it was with the 50mm wide open!... if you pass over the photo you'll see some icons show up on the right, if you click on the pic of the camera it will show you my EXIF data. I like to keep it on so people know how I shot the pic.... I wish everyone could do that!)
He is so not a baby anymore and I'm kinda sad about that. When he's clean he has this sweet smell to him and you just want to cuddle up with him and sniff him. LOL. Kind of like a drug. Then he goes out and plays real hard and comes back smelling like a stinky boy. Do girls do that too?
ReplyDeleteDoh! I should have seen that. That's what I like about flickr because it shows all of the photo stats.
What a handsome young man you've got there. It's amazing how a simpmle haircut can make a kid look so much older.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how a haircut can make them look so grown up. What a cutie.
