Poor kid

Today we let some friends use the water slide for a birthday party. We didn't really want to but how do you say no? So this is the look on Jacob's face when we get there today and the guys shows us a big tear in it. Man we both were so bummed that we wanted to cry.
P.S. that scab above his lip is where cussin' Colby bit him about a week ago.

  1. Poor guy. I would have looked like that too. Did the family offer to buy you a new one?

  2. Susan they really wouldn't be able to afford it and I couldn't ask that. I'm going to call the manufacturer and see what we can do.

  3. I hope the manufacturer is able to help you out. I know how much your boys love that slide.

  4. OMG I would be so MAD!!! What did they say?? They have to know the slides aren't cheap. Is it too big for the patches that came with it? (I still have our patch kit if you need some pieces).

  5. Tracey we have the patch kit but do you really think they will work? I've just never repaired anything like that successfully. Actually, once I send the company a copy of my receipt they are going to swap it out for us.

  6. Cool that they wills swap it out for you. Guess I should have saved my packing list, huh?

I have no idea if the patch kit would work. That would have to be some heavy duty vinyl glue to keep those patches in place and leak free.

  7. I know!! I know!! You can use Mighty Putty to keep the patch in place!! Billy can order you some!! (He likes calling all the "number(s) on your screen"). LOL!

  8. Oh my gosh, I would be flippin MAD! but I'm so glad you can get it replaced by the company. I hope it doesn't take too long to get a new one.

  9. Tracey I'm going to be in big trouble when Jacob starts calling numbers on the commercials. He tells me every single day that I need that self watering thing for my plants. you know that glass bulb thingie? He says "it last for 5 weeks!".
