Pesky little things.
So this is a yellow jacket. Last night Ralph was stung multiple times by them. Not really sure how many but enough that he was carried away in an ambulance and taken to the hospital. After he was stung he started to complain that he couldn't see, couldn't breath and was dizzy. We were walking to the car to take him the the ER and before he could get to the car he collapsed. And let me tell you, I do not respond well to these situations. I panic and don't know what to do. Basically act like a blubbering idiot. Thank God for some fast acting neighbors! But all is well after being pumped with benadryl and steroids. We left a few hours later with a prescription for an epipen.
Wow! That looks really nice. Looks like natural light.
ReplyDeleteSo, you're finally fiddling with the flash eh? I have tried to figure it out and I know it a bit better now but I am still amazed when it's not enough to speed up my shutter speed and I still get motion blur.
If you learn a few secrets, be sure to share lol! One thing I figured out was to up the flash exposure compensation a bit. That seems to help sometimes.
The exposure looks really nice - like natural lighting. That's the one thing I hate about the flashes on these cameras - they are fixed. On my film SLR I could angle the flash up so it wasn't shining directly on my subject.
ReplyDeleteAnyway - it's a great shot =)
All you people with this technical camera talk. You're my heroes. Seriously! I want to learn all that fun stuff someday too. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, beautiful pic too!
