Day sixteen
For two hours we had the most beautiuful snow fall. It was gorgeous. It started snowing about 6pm and by 7:20 we were all outside sledding down hills. I mean it was nice powdery snow. We NEVER get that here in GA. The boys had a blast. Colby started out by saying "I don't like snow" and then he was sledding down hills with the rest of them. I mean every kid in the n'hood was outside playing. Of course now it's rained all night and it's just nasty outside so it's a good thing we did all go out and play in it last night.
And here I sit, dreading that we're supposed to get more snow in the next few days. [sigh] LOL! I'm glad you guys had fun in it though! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL. Yes but you get snow every winter. Several times. We get snow once every 5yrs. We go CRAZY for snow!
ReplyDeleteMy kids have been hoping it would snow here too, but so far...nada...its only snowed once since the boys have been born, so I think we are due. LOL
ReplyDeleteWOW! Can't believe you guys got snow!! As for the "it never snows" thing...My parents tried to tell me that the year we were down there and you visited. Sure nuff - snowed during our visit. You can't blame this one on me though. ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't get why you in GA got nice snow & we in NC got sleet. So wish we had enough for sledding, snowmen & snowball fights!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. I miss beautiful, white snow. It's that quiet sound, when you go outside at night while it's snowing... it's so amazing. I so miss it.
ReplyDeletePretty! I love when it snows with big, wet flakes =)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I was toalking to my girlfriend in Atlanta when it started snowing there. It was her first!
