Wow! That looks really nice. Looks like natural light. So, you're finally fiddling with the flash eh? I have tried to figure it out and I know it a bit better now but I am still amazed when it's not enough to speed up my shutter speed and I still get motion blur. If you learn a few secrets, be sure to share lol! One thing I figured out was to up the flash exposure compensation a bit. That seems to help sometimes.
The exposure looks really nice - like natural lighting. That's the one thing I hate about the flashes on these cameras - they are fixed. On my film SLR I could angle the flash up so it wasn't shining directly on my subject.
