Kelly's Project 365

This is the boy I feel I must protect. The quite shy one. He's eager to please and easy to run over. I've had to confront more than one kid on more than one occasion for doing so. Am I doing him good or wrong by protecting him ? I'm not sure of that but it breaks my heart when someone is mean to him. The other son I know can protect himself. He's more assertive and outspoken. Quick to stop someone from getting in his way. But this one takes after me and I know what's in his heart. For the most part it's good. I know he's not innocent and without fault but he's not one to be mean to someone for the sake of being mean. And I can't stand by and see somene be mean to him.

This is a picture of the boys after spending the afternoon at the pool. Are they sweet or what? I don’t have the heart to move them. Alien shared this awesome website on her blog. That’s where I made the “motivation” poster. Very cool site!

Well for as long as it took me to take this picture. Once I was done they started fighting again. Seriously! Is it just my boys or do your kids try to kill each other too?

I'm here. I've just been a little blue and have had no desire to even pick up my camera. Nothing big just feeling sorry for myself. I know I have no real reason to but who's to say we're reasonable when we're down in the dumps. LOL. Thanks to those who have asked about me! Here a few shots I've taken lately. Nothing exciting just a couple of the boys and one of my pomegranate martini I enjoyed this past weekend.

Here is Jacob getting his "Kissable" award. All the students were give award certificates today with some type of candy that went along with their personality. They said Jacob received the kissable award for attracting all of the girls. The teacher had told me earlier in the year that all the girls would chase him around on the playground. LOL. This morning we had a helicopter land in front of the school and some soldiers delivered a flag that had flown in Iraq. Here is the helicopter landing. Here we have the soldiers raising the new flag. And just a shot of the soldiers. I even took Colby up to the school for this! It was so exciting for the kids and me too! Today was a big day at school.
