Day four

Today I decided to take a picture of Lake Lanier. I don't know if you are aware of Georgia's drought but this is the lake that supplies most of our water. We are currently over 18 feet below normal with no relief in site. In this picture you can see the docks that are on dry land.

  1. There's just something creepy about seeing docks on land, don't ya think? It almost looks summery with the sunshine and all the green around the perimeter. -K

  2. Wow, that is funny because I just took a picture of my outdoors and the rain. It's been crazy raining since last night, and it will not stop until Sunday.

I hope you get rain soon!

  4. Yeah - what Allison said! I can ship you some from here as well! My parents have a dock off their property in GA. They hate these droughts.

  5. oh we've had a lot of rain the past couple of weeks. It's just going to take a hurricane to even make a dent in the deficit.
